Term Insurance  ——  Protection for a specific period usually for a specific need

Term life insurance provides death benefit coverage for a specified period of time, or term.  This type of insurance is usually purchased to insure stability during a specific financial obligation in your life such as a home mortgage obligation.  Protection is affordable because the premiums for a term insurance policy are usually initially lower than for a permanent policy.

Even though term insurance does not accumulate cash value, a term policy is a wise choice for specific needs in your life.

If you are a parent or child guardian and looking for affordable insurance for one or more children,  the American Fraternal Union's Future Guard Plan is one of our most popular, affordable, and "parent satisfied" plans in the competitive insurance market!

Benefits of Term Life Insurance

Lower Premiums
Generally premiums are lower than a permanent policy and this makes term an ideal choice for individuals with a temporary need for life protection.

Conversion Privilege
A policyholder may choose to convert an existing American Fraternal Union  term policy to a permanent life policy with our company.  This conversion must take place before the maximum conversion age stated in each policy.  No evidence of  insurability is required when converting to a permanent plan with the same face amount.

Death Benefit
If you die during the policy term, your beneficiary will receive the death benefit amount.

Term and Permanent Together
You can buy a term policy to meet certain needs to complement your permanent policy.
